PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a material for treating and preventing asthma symptom. SOLUTION: The invention involves the method and the material for treating and preventing non-invasive fungus-induced mucositis. Specifically, the invention involves administering an antifungal agent such that it contacts mucosa in an amount, at a frequency, and for a duration effective to reduce, eliminate or prevent the asthma symptom to at least a part of the respiratory tract of a mammal.
