PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and reasonably producing an inexpensive and highly safe lubricant gel useful as a shaving lotion, or the like. SOLUTION: A container only for charging CMC (sodium carboxymethylcellulose) powder is characterized by charging CMC in the container and disposing a holed middle stopper (a disk-like flat middle stopper having many holes, or a nozzle-like middle stopper having a hole) for gradually discharging the powder, in the container. The method for producing an instant gel comprises removing an upper cap from the CMC-charged container, discharging a small amount of the CMC powder through the middle stopper, and then mixing the CMC powder with a small amount of water to instantaneously produce the gel.
