PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent dust, bugs, or the like from entering a folding container assembled in the shape of a box, by providing a gap closing member, which elastically comes into planar contact with each of the bank sections of the bottom, such that the gap closing member extends from the underside of each side wall, thereby preventing the occurrence of a gap between the gap closing member and each bank section of the bottom. SOLUTION: The folding container includes the bottom 1, and one pair of opposite side walls 2 hinged to one pair of opposite bank sections 1a of the bottom 1 and the other pair of opposite side walls 3 hinged to the other pair of opposite bank sections 16 of the bottom 1. In such a folding container, the gap closing member S which elastically comes into planar contact with each of the bank sections of the bottom extends from the underside of each side wall.
