PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of circuit component parts by reducing the number of detection circuits, even when a liquid drop discharging head has many liquid drop discharging ports. SOLUTION: The liquid drop discharging device is provided with a liquid drop discharging head having pressure chambers which communicate with a plurality of nozzles discharging liquid drops toward a medium to be recorded, resistance elements in the numbers less than the number of pieces of nozzles which detect the pressure in the pressure chambers discharging the liquid drops, and a detection circuit which constitutes a bridge circuit with four sets of resistance elements in the plurality of resistance elements and detects the state of the liquid drop discharge from the nozzles.
