PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary apparatus capable of easing dispersion in clicking sensation. SOLUTION: The rotary apparatus is provided with: a dial member 21 to be rotated relatively to a casing 2, a steel ball 22 fixed on the casing 2; a click board 23 having a plurality of slit parts 23c, formed along the rotational direction of the steel ball 22 and allowed to be engaged with the steel ball 22 with a prescribed energizing force for restricting the rotation of the dial member 21 and fixed on the dial member 21; screws 25 for fixing the click board 23 on the dial member 21 on the rotational center side of the dial member 21 with respect to the slit parts 23c; and a contact board 24 superposed and fixed to/on the click board 23 by the screws 25 so that a diameter near the clamping position of the screw 25 is shorter than a diameter at other positions.
