PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a flowerpot mud guard preventing mud splash when watering. SOLUTION: The flowerpot mud guard 10 has a belt-state sheet member 11, and is structured as follows: a plurality of engaging grooves 13a-13f are formed at the upper edge 12 of the sheet member 11; drainage holes 15, 17 are formed in the vicinity of the lower edge 14 of the sheet member 11; the engaging groove 13a formed at one end side of the sheet member 11 and the engaging groove 13f formed at the other end side thereof are superimposed on each other to change the shape of the sheet member 11 into a circular state in order to attach the sheet member 11 to a flowerpot P1; a stopper 20 is attached to each of the engaging grooves 13a-13f of the sheet member 11 so as to keep the sheet member 11 in a circular condition; the tip end of the stopper 20 projects from the lower edge 14 of the sheet member 11 and the tip end of the stopper 20 is stuck into soil S in the flowerpot P1 so that the sheet member 11 is fixed to the flowerpot P1.
