The tower has three oblong stabilization units (4) such as flat rolled steels which are connected with the tower in the place of longitudinal extension, where the units have equal distance to each other. The units are fixed with a lower end in a base and/or foundation. The flat rolled steels are arranged around the tower in such a manner that their narrow sides are facing the tower. An independent claim is also included for a method for stabilization of a tower.
