A first electrode substrate is provided with a first signal line, a second signal line, a third signal line, a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode and a third pixel electrode. The first signal line, the second signal line and the third signal line extend parallel to each other in a first direction. The first pixel electrode is electrically connected with the fist signal line. The second pixel electrode is adjacent to the first pixel electrode in the first direction and is electrically connected with the second signal line. The third pixel electrode is adjacent to the second pixel electrode in a row direction intersecting the first direction, with the second signal line in between, and is electrically connected with the third signal line. A capacitance value of a parasitic capacitance formed between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode is smaller than that of a parasitic capacitance formed between the first pixel electrode and the third pixel electrode.
