<p>A modular housing system for fluid control and regulation apparatus comprises a metal-plastics composite, circular cylindrical housing base structure consisting of an internal plastics housing body, enclosed by a tight-fitting outer casing of stainless steel and having individual connecting section sites at the axial ends; and optionally housing elements with individual connecting section sites for attaching to the axial ends of the housing base structure. An independent claim is included for the production of the housing base structure, housing elements or covering elements for the housing system, involving placing a thin piece of stainless steel sheet in the mold cavity of an injection mold, so that the sheet lies on and covers the internal surface of the mold cavity, then injection molding a plastics structure onto the opposite face of the sheet.</p> |
