Convertible sofa/bed has a base stand on which a seating cushion (2) is put and a pull out frame sliding on collapsible rails underneath it containing a mattress. When the frame is pushed in it aligns with the seating cushion at the front and when pulled out as a bed, it is supported on a mattress panel aligned above next to the seating cushion. The seating cushion has arm and/or back rests (6A,6B,7A,7B) held by the U-shaped base stand. The stand is open at the front, rests on feet and using panels (9A,9C) encloses at back and sides the seating cushion and pushed in mattress.
