<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm exercise device efficiently and effectively executing the arm exercise for reducing tiredness of the muscles of the shoulders and the arms. <P>SOLUTION: This arm exercise device is provided with a retaining part 8 retaining a person's hand 64 or a wrist 65; and can be used by being changed over among a twisting function positioning the retaining part 8 on the axial core P of a driving shaft 4 of a driving mechanism 2 and twisting the arm 60 retained to the retaining part 8 in a predetermined angle range, a rotating function positioning the retaining part 8 in a position deflected from the axial core P of the driving shaft 4 and continuously circulating the forearm 63 connected to the retaining part 8 in the same direction around the elbow joint 62, and a swinging function positioning the retaining part 8 in the position deflected from the axial core P of the driving shaft 4 similarly and reciprocatingly turning the forearm 63 connected to the retaining part 8 around the elbow joint 62 within a predetermined angle range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
