<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel switch device capable of saving an arrangement space of a switch, and enhancing the operability. <P>SOLUTION: Any one a switch SW1 to a switch SW5 and a shift key 13 are arranged respectively at a simultaneously operable position by a single hand while gripping a steering wheel. Different functions can be performed between a case in which the switch SW1 to the switch SW5 are singly operated and a case in which any one of the switch SW1 to the switch SW5 while the shift key 13 is operated. Thus, two functions can be provided to one switch.
