<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which the man-hours required for setting revision of a VLAN environment is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A gatekeeper transmits a new VLAN-ID or / and setting data of a priority control level to H.323 terminals and gateways under the control of the gatekeeper via a network, the terminals and the gateways respectively receive the transmitted setting data, rewrites the VLAN-ID and the setting data of the priority control level stored in a flash ROM of the terminals and the gateways into the newly received setting data, and when the rewrite of the setting data is finished, the terminals and the gateways restart themselves under the new setting, and when confirming that they are restarted, the gatekeeper rewrites the VLAN-ID or / and the setting data of the priority control level stored in its own storage means into the new VLAN-ID and the new setting data of the priority control level which the gatekeeper transmits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
