IMAGE DATA COMPRESSION/EXPANSION METHOD AND IMAGE DATA COMPRESSION/EXPANSION DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data compression/expansion method and an image data compression/expansion device by which a large amount of moving image data can be quickly recorded without deteriorating image quality and lowering a compression rate.

SOLUTION: A video image is captured as image data by an image acquiring part 21. A part of still image data constituting the moving image data is trimmed by an area deforming part 222. Only the image data corresponding to a trimming area is compressed by an encoding part 223. The compressed image data are recorded by a recording device part 24. Only the compressed image data in the trimming area are expanded by a decoding part 224 and displayed as the moving image on a display device 4.
