QUINACRIDONE PIGMENT COMPOSITION FOR GRAVURE INK, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND GRAVURE INK COMPRISING THE PIGMENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely finely dispersible quinacridone pigment composition for gravure ink having excellent initial dispersibility of the pigment for a dispersion medium (vehicle) without using various kinds of surface treating agents such as a pigment derivative, a dispersing agent and a resin, to provide a method for producing the pigment composition and to provide the gravure ink having the excellent ink characteristics.

SOLUTION: The quinacridone pigment composition for the gravure ink is composed of a mixed crystal or a mixture of 2,9-dimethylquinacridone with unsubstituted quinacridone. The gravure ink comprises the pigment composition.
