PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which heat can be efficiently discharged from an electronic component via a battery in the inside of the casing. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with an imaging unit 3 for picking up an image of a subject from the one-surface side of the casing 2; a main substrate 25 on which an electronic apparatus 27 capable of generating heat when voltage is applied is mounted; and a display part 4 for displaying an image on the other surface of the casing 2; and a battery storage part 41 for storing a battery 23. The main substrate 25 and the battery storage part 41 are successively laminated, from the other surface side to the one-surface side in the order of the main substrate 25 and the battery storage part 41, the electronic component 27 is mounted on the battery storage part 41 side of the main substrate 25 and a heat discharging space 42 is formed on the one-surface side of the battery storage part 41.
