PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus for performing the formation processing of an image for respective data stored when receiving the execution instruction of the formation processing of the image. SOLUTION: When a memory reception mode is set, the image-forming apparatus 1 temporarily stores data received via a modem 13 in an image memory 15. And when a user operates a release button 22a at an operation section 22, a CPU 10 reads respective facsimile data stored in the image memory 15 for decoding by an image processing section 16, and transmits the data to an image formation section 21 for outputting images. The CPU 10 stores received facsimile data in the image memory 15 once if the facsimile data are being received from the modem 13 when the release button 22a is operated, reads the data for decoding by the image processing section 16, and then transmits the data to the image formation section 21 for outputting images.
