摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven diaphragm device having reduced thickness and size of a drive mechanism, and where a stable operation is ensured by high drive force exerted on diaphragm vanes, and designing is facilitated by increasing the flexibility in the selection of the direction with which the drive mechanism is mounted. SOLUTION: An actuator 40 for driving the two diaphragm vanes 20A and 20B includes: a needle 60, which is supported so as to freely swing around a swing support point P1 and has a permanent magnet 68 at one swing end P2 apart from the swing support point P1 and a drive pin at the other swing end P3 apart from the swing support point, the permanent magnet 68 having both magnetic poles, in the direction in which the needle 60 swings; a stator 50 which includes a coil for excitation and supplies power to the coil, thereby causing a magnetic force in the permanent magnet, and swinging the needle around the swing support point. The swing support point 1 of the needle 60 and the swing end P3 having the drive pin 63 are disposed outside an area surrounded by the coil, and the swing end P2, having the permanent magnet 68, is disposed inside the area surrounded by the coil 52.
