PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for removing iron in concentrated sulfuric acid. SOLUTION: This method for removing iron in concentrated sulfuric acid comprises the steps of keeping concentration of sulfuric acid at 99.37-99.68 mass%, filtering and removing deposited iron, thereby making the concentration of iron to 3 mass ppm or less.
