PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treatment device and a standby tray certainly dropping off sheet waiting/retained on the standby tray onto a treatment tray. SOLUTION: The standby tray 10 is provided releasably in a left/right direction. The sheet post-treatment device is provided with left and right lower surface support members 10a, 10b for supporting left and right lower surfaces in a conveying direction of the sheet conveyed to the standby tray; and an upper surface hitting member 80 for hitting an upper surface of the sheet conveyed to the standby tray and dropping off the sheet onto the treatment tray.
