PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt bar support mechanism without risk of impairing an appearance of a blind, in the tilt bar support mechanism for preventing a tilt bar central part of the horizontal blind from lowering by a load of a slat. SOLUTION: This tilt bar support mechanism is characterized in that the front end and the rear end of a wire are respectively inserted from above into front side and rear side wire inserting holes bored in a central part of the left and the right of a top bar, and are guided to a front face and a rear face of a tilt bar, and then, are locked by being inserted from below into front side and rear side wire locking holes bored in the tilt bar, and a central part of the tilt bar is suspended by the top bar via the wire.
