PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidizing-dephosphorizing method with which the effective dephosphorizing treatment can be obtained with a simple means and the dephosphorizing-treating cost of molten chromium-containing iron can be reduced, in the case of applying the oxidizing-dephosphorization to the molten chromium-containing iron. SOLUTION: The temperature of the molten chromium-containing iron before adding a refining agent is controlled in the range of 1,350-1,500°C and also, C content in the molten chromium-containing iron before adding the refining agent, is controlled in the range of≥4.0 mass% and no precipitation of C with the dephosphorizing treatment. The refining agent satisfying 0.4≤(%CaO)/(%CaF<SB>2</SB>)≤2.0 and 0.4≤(%CaO)/(%FeO)≤2.0 to iron oxide concentration (%FeO), lime concentration (%Ca) and fluorite concentration (%CaF<SB>2</SB>) is added into the molten chromium-containing iron.
