The water proof device (1) has a joint lying between the bridge and their thrust bearing along with two edge elements (2,3). On each side of the joint, a substructure is arranged. The edge elements are fastened to the substructure by connecting devices (4). The substructure or edge elements are provided with a support profile (20,21) at the respective contact surface.
