<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously manufacture disposable pull-on wearing articles of such a type that both sides of front and rear waist regions are connected to each other with fastener means so that their shapes can be uniformized. <P>SOLUTION: A web 103 is formed with first fastener means 116 on both sides of a region defining a cut line 111 extending in a cross direction CD to a machine direction MD. After second fastener means 124 on a fastener base sheet 123 have respectively been engaged with the respective first fastener means 116, a region extending between these first fastener means 116 and 116 is cut away from the web 103. Then the web 103 is folded in two so that its first and second side edges 101a and 101b may fall into line and a region of the web 103 located aside toward the second side edge 101b is bonded to the fastener base sheet 123. Thereafter the web is successively cut along the cut lines 111 extending in the cross direction CD to form segments of the web 103 with necessary dimension in the machine direction MD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
