<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter in which a colored layer is formed by an ink jet method and which has high quality without causing color unevenness, viid or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This color filter comprises: a substrate; a plurality of linear light shielding parts formed on the substrate at equal intervals with predetermined intervals; a light shielding part composed of a coupling light shielding part which couples two adjacent liner light shielding parts at a predetermined interval; and the colored layer formed between each liner shielding part and formed so as to cover the coupling light shielding part. The color filter is characterized in that an opening sectioned by the light shielding part is formed on the base, the shape of the opening is the one that a top edge of at least one corner part is cut off by a straight line or a curved line and further more, the colored layer is formed by the ink jet method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
