<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately prevent a laser beam source unit from being damaged caused by human error. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machine 1 reads laser beam identifying information set on the laser beam source unit 3 when a power source of a control unit 2 is turned on, and compares the control voltage level of a laser oscillator 11 included in the read laser beam source identifying information with the laser beam source control voltage level stored in the control unit 2. When it is detected that both levels are not matched with each other, the supply of the control voltage to the laser beam source unit 3 is stopped. Even when the laser beam source unit 3 and the control unit 2, which are unconformable in the control voltage level, are connected to each other, the supply of abnormal control voltage from the control unit 2 to the laser beam source unit 3 can appropriately be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
