PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation apparatus for relieving variation in click feeling. SOLUTION: The rotation apparatus comprises a dial member 21 for relatively rotating to a housing 2, a steel ball 22 fixed to the housing 2, a click plate 23 provided along the rotation direction of the steel ball 22, engaging with the steel ball 22 with a predetermined energizing force, having a plurality of slit portions 23c for limiting the rotation of the dial member 21 and fixed to the dial member 21, and a screw 25 for fixing the click plate 23 to the dial member 21, wherein the click plate 23 has a slit portion 23f for locally relieving the energizing force of the click plate 23 in the vicinity of the position where the screw 25 is arranged.
