PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change constitution contents of a consistency group without canceling a pair of volumes of the consistency group relating to a remote copy system and a remote copy method using sequence numbers. SOLUTION: In the case of changing the constitution of the consistency group, on a data reception side, a reflecting operation on a logical storage area at the time of receiving prescribed data transmitted from a data transmission side after the change is started after reflection on the logical storage area of the prescribed data transmitted from the data transmission side before the change is ended.
