PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact one-way clutch which can certainly prevent the reduction of a torque capacity and the axial dimension of which is reduced. SOLUTION: Chamfered portions 10, 11 are formed at both ends in the axial direction of the inner peripheral surface of an outer ring 1. Chamfered portions 12, 13 are formed at both ends in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface of an inner ring 2. Axial dimensions of the chamfered portions 12, 13 of the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring 2 at both sides in the axial direction of a sprag 3 are set at 0.5mm or more and 5mm or less, respectively. The distances between ends 21, 23 of the chamfered portions 12, 13 of the inner ring 2 on the side of the sprag 3 are set at 1.5mm or more and 3mm or less, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
