PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of fine cleaning. SOLUTION: When cleaning is automatically performed by a self traveling mode at the time of normal cleaning and the distal end part of a suction hose 41 is detached from a plug and the suction hose 41 is turned to a using state at the time of cleaning a place not cleaned in the self traveling mode or the like, by switching to a manual operation mode by a control means, an operator can manually and auxiliarily clean even the part not cleaned in the self traveling mode or dust on a mop board at a position higher than a floor surface or the like and three-dimensional and fine cleaning is made possible.
