PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine allowing a game hall side to easily find a fraud without offending a good general game player or unnecessarily obstructing the progress of the game. SOLUTION: This pinball game machine is provided with a sorting ball entry means 22 sorting balls entered in a sorting ball entry to a regular passage and a special passage, a sorting ball entry detecting means 46 detecting the ball passing through the sorting ball entry, a special detecting means 49 detecting the ball passing through the special passage, and a performance control means 113 controlling a performance means 115 related to the detection by the special detecting means 49. This machine is further provided with a lapse time determination means 96a determining the lapse of a specific time from the last detection by the sorting ball entry detecting means 46 when detected by the special detecting means 49, the specific time is set to a value longer than the maximum time necessary for the game ball from entering the sorting ball entry till passing through the special passage; and the performance control means 113 is so constituted as to change a performance content according to the determination result by the lapse time determination means 96a.
