PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a display device and to lower initial costs and running costs by making light be incident from the end face of a transparent cover, making a photosensitive material develop a color and displaying desired visual information inside the transparent cover. SOLUTION: The transparent cover 6 is fitted to a transmission window WD housing the drum reels R1-R3 of a slot machine, and the transparent cover 6 is provided with the display parts 65a-65c constituted of the photosensitive material. The display parts 65a, 62b and 65c become transparent in the state of not executing a performance operation and do not obstruct the visual confirmation of the drum reels R1-R3. Light sources 66a-66c and 67a-67c are arranged facing the end face of the transparent cover 6, and the light sources are made to emit the light when executing the performance operation.
