A method for the separation of components by which an acid component can partially be separated from a mixture comprising the acid component and water without deteriorating the properties of crystalline zeolite. Namely, a method for separating partially an organic acid component (such as acetic acid) from a mixture comprising the acid component and water by using crystalline zeolite, wherein when a vapor (16) of the mixture is brought into contact with crystalline zeolite (11), the vapor (16) is heated with a ribbon heater (13) to such a temperature as to inhibit the vapor (16) from capillary condensation.
