<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control transmission power of a mobile terminal utilizing GPS location information of the mobile terminal and the strength of power of a received satellite tracking signal. <P>SOLUTION: GPS location information of a mobile terminal is received. The GPS location information is utilized to predict an EIRP value (EIRP<SB>cal</SB>) to be transmitted. GC<SB>ini</SB>that is a gain value corresponding to EIRP<SB>cal</SB>is determined. The GPS location information is utilized to predict BC<SB>est</SB>that is the strength of receive power of a satellite tracking signal to be received in a present location based on a fine day. The said GC<SB>ini</SB>is reflected with a differential value between BC<SB>ini</SB>that is the strength of receive power of the satellite tracking signal that is received when the mobile terminal is initially connected, and the predicted BC<SB>est</SB>, and a gain value GC<SB>cur</SB>to be transmitted is set.
