<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VoIP terminal, STB and video information transmitting/receiving method in a video phone system including the same in which video information can be transmitted/received, while transmitting/receiving audio information, without providing a gatekeeper or an SIP server on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A VoIP terminal 2 transmits an IP address of a VoIP terminal 7 or of an STB 9 to an STB 4 while an audio channel is connected with the VoIP terminal 7. The STB 4 transmits video information to the STB 9 based on the IP address.
