PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolytic liquid which provides a non-aqueous electrolytic liquid secondary battery superior in cycle life characteristics and superior in safety at overcharge.

SOLUTION: This is the non-aqueous electrolytic liquid which includes a non-aqueous solvent, a solute dissolved in the non-aqueous solvent, and hydrogenated terphenyl, and in which the solute is composed of an alkali salt which includes boron and an alkali salt which does not contain boron. It is preferable that the hydrogenated terphenyl is contained 0.5-3.5 wt% in the non-aqueous electrolytic liquid.
