<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control unit and a printer equipped with the same capable of recognizing an image of an ornament pattern composed into a real image easily even if the magnifying power of a display image is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of patterns of different magnification are stored with respect to at least one ornament pattern and a variety of ornament patterns and an ornament pattern table for showing a correlation between the display magnifying power of a real image (an image with an ornament pattern not added) and the magnifying power of the ornament pattern is stored in an ROM 4. Then, in displaying the display image on a screen by desired display magnifying power, an ornament pattern to be the desired magnifying power is acquired by applying the display magnification of the real image to the correlation table, the ornament patterns are composed into the real image of the desired magnifying power, and displayed on the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
