<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic microparticle having a high insulating property, hardly degrading saturation magnetization and having superior biological-substance-extracting ability, which is manufactured by a method suitable for industrial use and having high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: This metallic microparticle comprises a metallic particle nucleus 1 which is mainly made from a magnetic metal and has an average particle diameter of 10 μm or smaller, and a multilayer which covers the nucleus and consists of two or more inorganic materials which are different from each other. Furthermore, the inorganic material of covering one part or all parts of the metallic particle nucleus while contacting with it forms a coating film 2 mainly composed of carbon or boron nitride, and the outside inorganic material of the above inorganic materials forms a coating film 3 mainly containing silicon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
