<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front cover for optical receptacle unit capable of enhancing safety, contributing to prevention of deterioration of connection loss, further, removing a part that becomes a hindrance upon non-operation and improving the appearance thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The front cover 55 forms a rotation center on the upper part 77 side and has a cover main body 74 which becomes an opened state or a closed state for a unit main body 52 of an optical receptacle unit 51. The front cover 55, on the lower part 78 of the cover main body 74, continuously forms a cover folding part 76 which is folded into the rear side of the cover main body 74 upon non-operation and, upon operation, is raised up and supports the opened state of the cover main body 74. The front cover 55, on the cover folding part 76, forms a slit 79 for a drawer with respect to a boot of an optical connector connected with an optical connection part and a restraint protrusion 84 with respect to the unit main body 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
