<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a road surface sign aims at a clear eye person; a visually handicapped person difficult to identify a color and brightness cannot move along this sign; guidance of the visually handicapped person is not wholly satisfied only by a surface projection of a braille block; the block becomes a barrier since an aged person and an infant stumbles; the block is kept at a distance from a user of a wheelchair, a baby buggy, a bicycle and a traveling bag and is difficult to be laid in a room of an underground town and a hospital due to these causes; a detecting distance is short as to a method for detecting a guiding passage by using an apparatus for finding a difference in a construction material; an electronic tag is laid in a dotted shape as an alternative; and these methods remain in the substantially same technological range as a visually handicapped person guiding block. <P>SOLUTION: A pedestrian guiding passage has a width required for the traveling, and is partitioned by a reflecting road surface sign 2 and a reflecting road surface sign 3 having the recursive reflection function different in a sign width in the left and right, and is arranged on a flat guiding road 1, and is scanned and read by an optical instrument. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
