<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shielding composite particles which have excellent temporal stability, and can maintain high shielding and clear handwriting over a long periods, and to provide an ink composition using the same and used for writing tools. <P>SOLUTION: The shielding composite particles are characterized by containing at least an oxidized wax or its mixture with a polyolefin having a true density of≤1.0 g/cm<SP>3</SP>. It is preferable that the shielding composite particles contain a shielding pigment. It is preferable that the oxidized wax is an oxidized wax having at least one functional group selected from urethane groups, hydroxy groups, carboxy groups, carboxylate salt groups, ester groups, unsaturated bonds between carbon atoms, amino groups, amide groups, nitro groups, ether bonds, halogen groups, epoxy groups, and acid anhydride groups in the molecule. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
