PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of reducing cleaning and maintenance time of a user, and capable of enhancing safety in high place work. SOLUTION: The blower is provided with a body 3 provided with a fan 2 in an interior and attached to a building, a microswitch 4 detecting a change of state due to attachment or removal of a louver 5 with respect to the body 3, an integrating means 8 for integrating operating time of the fan 2, and a storing means 11 for storing the change of state detected by the microswitch 4. A secondary battery 12 is provided for retaining states of the integrating means 8 and the storing means 11 when energization to the fan 2 is cut off. It is composed such that when the louver 5 is attached to the body 3 after the secondary battery 12 retains the states of the integrating means 8 and the storing means 11 due to a cutoff, the state of the integrating means 8 is reset.
