PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-mold coating molding method which can improve the designability of a product by arranging the orientation of bright bodies when a coating film is formed without causing the lowering of the degree of freedom in designing the product. SOLUTION: The in-mold coating molding method has a process for molding a substrate having an opening by using a fixed mold 32 and a first movable mold and a process in which a coating film forming cavity 38 is formed between the surface of the substrate 22 and a second movable mold by using the fixed mold 32 and the second movable mold, and the coating film is formed on the surface of the substrate 22 by packing a coating containing the bright bodies in it. An excess coating housing part 41 is formed in the fixed mold 32, a coating injection port 39 and a projection 40 are formed in the second movable mold, and the coating injection port 39 and the excess coating housing part 41 are arranged at opposite positions holding the projection 40 between them, respectively. The excess coating produced by injecting an excessive amount of the coating into the cavity 38, after being housed in the excess coating housing part 41, is cured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
