PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent back flow into a flow channel of waste liquid and suction of sample solution from the inside of the flow channel. SOLUTION: A buffer for measurement is injected into the flow channel 16 in performing measurement. After starting the signal measurement, analyte solution 27 is injected into the flow channel 16 by a pipette 26. The buffer for measurement is discharged from a discharge port 16b by this injection. The discharge port 16b is provided with a liquid reservoir 42d covered with a lid 43, and the discharged buffer for measurement remains in it. A suction pipe 30 connected to a suction pump 74 is arranged in the liquid reservoir 42d, and sucks the remaining buffer for measurement to prevent the back flow. A ventilation pipe 81 is arranged in the liquid reservoir 42d, and, in this suction, the outside air is taken to prevent the inside from coming into negative pressure.
