PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an unnaturalness occurring at a program switch in a serial program. SOLUTION: When the sending apparatuses, where the last image of a last program and the top image of a following program are preserved, are the same and not accessed at the same time, sending control processing for a program switch is carried out. In Figure, the case is shown wherein following program preferential processing of starting broadcast slightly later than the broadcast starting time of a nearly scheduled following program is carried out. Therefore, when the sending apparatus X serving as a finish processing target apparatus that is used in the last program is kept in sending processing, and while the top image of the following program is broadcast by the use of broadcast material recorded in the sending apparatus X, the sending processing of the finish processing target apparatus X is forcibly terminated when the broadcast starting time (sending starting time) comes. Thereafter, the apparatus X is immediately subjected to standby processing. By this setup. a little delay time of (advance setup time of the sending apparatus X) may occur, but unnatural broadcast is prevented from starting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
