PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control which can be easily mounted on a wall without using a tool and boring a tapped hole in the wall for mounting. SOLUTION: A recess 2 extending thin and long in a vertical direction is provided on the upper half of the back of the remote control 1, and a mounting strip 10 is fixed inside the recess 2. The mounting strip 10 is equipped with a turning body 11, an axial branch 12, a pin 13, and a weight 15. The lower end of the turning body 11 is formed into a protrusion 14, protruding toward a surface side, and the surface of the protrusion 14 is formed into a curved surface 14a. When the back of the remote control 1 is pressed against the wall 20, the mounting strip 10 is changed in configuration in such a manner that the protrusion 14 is made to recede into the recess 2, the pin 13 is turned in a certain direction so as to protrude from the recess 2, and the pin 13 is stabbed into the wall 20.
