PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate formation of a different screen to be displayed superposed on a screen displayed on a programmable display and management of such a different screen. SOLUTION: A plotting editor forming a screen displays, upon operation of an editing mode switching button 104 on a plotting window 101, a header screen editing area 111 in an editing area 103 to enable formation of a header screen. When the editing mode switching button 104 is operated again from the header editing mode, the header screen displayed in the header screen editing area 111 is set to a main screen displayed on a main screen editing area 102.
