PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating dial which has a simple structure and is made thin. SOLUTION: The rotating dial 10 is provided with; an outer cover 12; a dial body 11 arranged rotatably to the outer cover 12 and having a plurality of engagement holes 16 arranged concentric to the center of rotation on the rear side 28 facing the outer cover 12; and a positioning member 22 where an engagement part 22c for positioning the rotating position of the dial body 11 while engaging with the engagement hole 16, a fixed part 22a fixed to the outer cover 12, an energizing part 22b for energizing the engagement part 22c toward the dial body 11 against the fixed part 22a are integrally formed by a leaf spring. Regarding the rotating dial 10 having the aforesaid constitution, the fixed part 22 is arranged on the rear side 34 of the outer cover 12, and a through hole 19 is formed in the outer cover 12 so that the engagement part 22c and the energizing part 22b may project toward the dial body 11.
