PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden partition device which is formed by connecting between panel bodies each obtained by fitting a panel, a sliding door, or the like into a frame body which is an assembly of a top rail, a bottom rail, and both stiles, via studs vertically erected on a floor surface, wherein the frame bodies are assembled in a manner being free from formation of gaps between the stiles of the respective panel bodies even if the top rail and/or the bottom rail is dried and shrunk. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the wooden partition device, each stile 4 has a groove formed in an external surface thereof, into which the stud 19 is fitted, and the bottom rail 3 is screwed to a fitting 15 arranged on the floor surface, followed by screwing the top rail 2 to a fitting 16 arranged on a ceiling substrate. Then a casing 17 is fitted into a gap between the top rail 2 and the fitting, and a ceiling panel side end is mounted on the casing. Further in order to set up the frame body, the top rail 2 and the bottom rail 3 are bolted to the stiles from external sides, and a spring washer 25 is interposed between a bolt head 23 and the stile.
