PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treatment device and a standby tray enhancing alignment property of a sheet rear end by certainly dropping off the waiting/retained sheet in the standby tray on a treatment tray. SOLUTION: In the sheet post-treatment device, the standby tray 10, in which left and right lower surface support members 10a, 10b for supporting left and right lower surfaces in a conveying direction of the sheet are turnably mounted to both side frames 10c, 10d through turning shafts 10e, 10f, releases the standby of the sheet by downwardly or upwardly turning the left and right lower surface support members.
